What You'll Do

As a Financial Controller, you'll ensure financial excellence across all entities within our international organization. You will:

  • Coordinate and execute the month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities.

  • Process financial transactions and maintain strict accounts payable and receivable administration.

  • Check and process financial data and journal entries (booking corrections, provisions, balance sheet specifications).

  • Create financial overviews and reports, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support with audits and ensure compliance with tax obligations (including VAT returns).

  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

  • Actively propose ideas on how to make our financial processes smarter and more efficient.

  • Coordinate with external parties such as accountants and tax advisors.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on financial talent with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a comparable field.

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a financial role.

  • Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.

  • Experience with ERP systems (Accountview/AGP) is a plus

  • (Advanced) Excel skills / Google Sheets is needed

  • Strong analytical skills and a meticulous work attitude: financial accountability regarding accuracy, completeness, and timeliness is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills (proficient in Dutch and English)

  • Ability to organize your own work effectively while collaborating with various departments.
